SUMMARY:Accelerating Solar Growth Through State Policy
DESCRIPTION:Accelerating Solar Growth Through State Policy: Portfolio Standards in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania \nAll around the country\, states are transitioning to clean energy. The pace and nature of that transition is largely driven by state-level policies like the portfolio standard. DC passed a 100% clean energy bill in 2019\, and Pennsylvania is considering updating its Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard in 2021\, increasing the amount of electricity that must come from in-state solar. \nJoin us to discuss how portfolio standards\, solar carve-outs\, and solar renewable energy credits affect the economics of going solar\, generate local jobs\, and help us transition to clean\, renewable energy. We will discuss how grassroots advocacy led to DC’s ambitious 100% Clean Energy bill and what we can expect from the Pennsylvania proceedings. \n*This session will focus portfolio standards in D.C. and Pennsylvania but anyone who is interested in learning more is welcome to attend. \nShareTweetStay Informed
